For me, the sound of the flute is straight out of a fairy tale and the perfect choice for any wedding - it’s a soulful instrument that evokes a sense of romance, whimsy and often deep emotion. From elegant music for your ceremony to upbeat and chilled soundtracks for your drinks reception - there are many possibilities.

My solo flute package can be booked for your ceremony alone or extended to include your drinks reception. Both options include 30 minutes of pre-ceremony music to entertain your guests as they arrive and set the atmosphere. My pre-ceremony set includes timeless classical favourites, beautiful film music and modern songs arranged for flute. Pachelbel’s Canon in D is always a favourite, alongside songs such as Birds of a Feather and music from Bridgerton.

Many of my couples get in touch because they’re fantasy fans, which I absolutely love! Film and game music often features heavily during the ceremony, whether that's Across the Stars from Star Wars for your entrance, Concerning Hobbits for the signing of the register, or The Merry-Go-Round of Life for your exit as a newly married couple. Getting to perform some of the best film music ever written, by Howard Shore, Joe Hisaishi and John Williams, during such a special moment is such a joy. And speaking of amazing film music - I of course perform solo flute Bollwood songs with personal favourites such as Jashn-E-Bahaaraa and Kesariya.

For couples who would like music beyond the ceremony, I also offer two sets of 35 minutes during the drinks reception. This is where I like to mix things up a little! Imagine the feel of a relaxed jazz bar, with flute versions of Fly Me to the Moon, alongside chilled-out pop favourites such as Love Story, As It Was and Pink Pony Club. And if you’d prefer to keep the fantasy theme going, we can certainly include more of your favourite film music. I use a professional audio system and can amplify my flute if needed, ensuring the music carries beautifully in your venue. During my break at the drinks reception, I’ll have a carefully curated playlist playing to keep the vibes going.

I’m always happy to chat through your ideas, suggest music for the different parts of the day and consider special requests. If there’s a particular song or soundtrack that means something to you, let me know. I’d love to help you find the perfect musical backdrop for your day.
